My wife warned me that the little guy has been mixing cereals lately. So it came as no huge surprise on Sunday when we fired up breakfast and he decided he wanted more than one cereal in a bowl. Only, it wasn’t nearly as bad as Alex made it out to be. Nesquik cereal (chocolate) with Cocoa Mini-Wheats Bites (chocolate and sugar). Seemed like a perfectly fine mix, and he ate it quite happily. But then….
Fast forward an hour and dad decides he wants some more cereal. Son decides to have some more, too. He even asked for the same thing—the chocolatey chocolateness. But here’s the catch: we had used up the last of the Nesquik.
“Howabout just some of the Mini-Wheats?” asks I.
“No thank you, daddy,” he replies, “I want to pick my own cereals.”
These pictures say a thousand words. But in case they don’t quite get you there, let me be confirm that you are indeed seeing Cocoa Mini-Wheats Bites, Fruit Loops, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch all mixed together. Thing is, he ate it all with a smile, so who am I to judge?

I *love* that boy. LOVE. Look at that face!
D’awwww. Yeah he’s a cute little guy all right. He’d have to be to help offset the rambunctiousness.
